Some years ago, our friends Xosé Ambás and Ramsés Ilesies had the brilliant idea to collect traditional music of Country L.lena (Asturies). The amount of music they recorded, played by many people, filled two double full length CD's. In that moment, the people from L.lena incurred a debt with them for their efforts to conserve this rich heritage. In an attempt to show gratitude and repay a small part of that debt, we study this repertoire, and little by little, work with it. With all our love, we do the best thing with it we can possibly to do: sing it and embrance it with our understanding of music. We simply redress it new clothes.
We know not to try and improve it, because it is and remains traditional music, which has been preserved through the years, in its own true and better version.
